Apple Releases First Public Beta of iOS 17

iOS 17 Public Beta 1 Is Here!

Additionally, the coolStandby featureis finally available for you to try out on your iPhone. This new feature will allow you to gain access to certain glanceable information when the phone is placed in a horizontal position, either in Standby Mode or while charging wirelessly. Using this feature, you can use your iPhone as a clock view mode with multiple clock styles, live activities, incoming notifications, and a lot more widget options.

With iOS 17, thelock screen and home screen customizationare becoming more intuitive with the ability to gain quick access options without the need to open the said app itself. For example, you can turn your smart devices on and off by creating a custom widget for that trigger on your home screen and/or lock screen.
