Demon Slayer’s fourth season will be based on the Hashira Training Arc (chapters 128-136) of the manga, which picks up right after the events of the Swordsmith Village arc in Season 3. According to Viz Media, the plot of the anime’s fourth season will be:

Tanjiro goes to see the Stone Hashira, Himejima, who intends to prepare him for the battles to come.
