One Piece Chapter 1107: Blackbeard Pirates Are on Egghead Island and Have Hit the Jackpot Already!

One of them is, of course,the Blackbeard Pirateswho arrived on the futuristic island in the middle of an all-out war. For a few chapters, we have been in the dark as to who joined the climax, but we finally have the answer. Oda has revealed the Blackbeard crew members who are on Egghead and why in Chapter 1107. So, let’s discover the truth behind the plan of the Blackbeard Pirates.

Catarina Devon and Van Augur Arrive on Egghead

Back in chapter 1079, we saw aBlackbeard pirateship approaching Egghead Island. For the last 35+ chapters, fans were left to ponder which members were aboard this ship and their objectives as well.

In this chapter, Luffy, in hisGear 5 form, used a brand-new Booming Dawn Gatling attack againstSt. Saturnand his punches hit so hard that Saturn went flying. This is when we saw both Van Augur and Catarina reveal their presence on the island and loom over an off-balance Saturn. They got to see one of theFive Elders in One Pieceand that too in his demonic form.

Now, this presented a rare opportunity to take a win back home for the Blackbeard Pirates, and they did so as well.

Catarina and Van Augur hit the jackpot already by completing their assigned mission as quickly as possible. However, Catarina was astonished to see the elder’s demonic appearance. Hence, without wasting any breath, she quickly touched one of the elder’s spider legs.

If you haven’t guessed already why she did that, I believe you need a recap of Catarina’s devil powers. She has the powers of the Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Kyubi no Kitsune devil fruit, which enables her to transform and impersonate anyone she touches. This is such a crazy power to be in the hands of a person who was known as the most deadly female pirate imprisoned in the world of One Piece.

So, by touching St. Saturn, she essentially can impersonate one of the Five Elders now. Sounds, well, crazy, right? The Blackbeard pirate crew members then had a brief chit-chat with Saturn about how Blackbeard comes from a special lineage and what their crew’s primary goal is.

After successfully stealing the appearance of an Elder that they could use anytime, the duo deemed their mission successful and retreated when the Elder tried to attack. On their way home, they met with Caribou, which is another story to look out for.

For now, Catarina having the ability to impersonate one of the Five Elders is such a massive win in the books of Blackbeard Pirates and for the fans of Kurohige as well. We can’t wait to see the ruckus they cause with Catarina’s newest addition to her impersonation catalog.
