We are two days into the new year and the next supposed big entries into the rather cluttered mid-range smartphone segment in India have finally been announced. Xiaomi noted (pun intended) its launch of theRedmi Note 13 seriesthis month, and it looks like we will also be getting themuch-awaited POCO X6 serieson January 11.
The phone will feature UFS 3.1 storage and a 64 MP primary sensor, paired with a 13 MP Ultrawide and 2 MP macro camera.
The POCO X6 Pro, on the other hand, is rebranded Redmi K70E. It’spowered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 UltraSoC, besides other similarities in specifications. The X6 Pro is rumored to boast a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 64MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP Ultrawide, and a 2MP macro shooter. Besides, the smartphone will also boast a 5,000 mAh battery capable of charging at 67W.
The exclusive leaks were first showcased by91Mobileswhere details about the rebranding and color options were revealed in full glory. As per the article, both the POCO X6 and X6 Pro will come in3 color options; the X6 will come in Black, Blue, and White, whereas the X6 Pro will come in Black, Gray, and Yellow options.
